8-Bit Bastards by Natfoe 8-Bit Bastards by Natfoe
I always kinda liked the villains of a show, game or whater a little more than the heroes.

Anyway, I really could not find any original art of Ganon from the NES days at all. Nothing, really. And the sprite really isn't all that helpful, that's just a teal pig with a red bib with a skull printed on it. So I had to just go ahead and use the SNES model. The only good thing there is He looks almost the same in the SNES remake of the original LOZ as he did in LttP.

Oh ok. I never made it that far in that game. I need to add that to my "to beat" list. =P

It is a challenge. To really beat that game you have to go through the game twice beating him both times.

I love this! :deviation:

It's great that you drew Ganon in his old school appearance, I think people forget he used to look like that.

I also think that may be the cutest Ridley ever drawn btw.

Well Ganon has not appeared as a blue pig in a few years now.

And thanks Kraid and Ridley were my two favorites in this pic.

As someone who grew up on an NES and still believes it the best console ever, I really like stuff like this. Excellent cartoon-style visuals and attention to detail, such as making Kraid & Ridley look like their sprites.

The gang's all here! I like Medusa and Ridley the best; they just ooze cartoony, 1980s charm.

Sweet. I don't see fanart of Medusa very often, and your Wily is awesome.

Heck, the whole thing is great.

I can't think of any time I have seen Medusa in fan art really. Her design is so weird even for 80's nintendo.

You included Chaos!

This is officially brilliant. :D

Now how could I leave out possibly the only well known 8-bit Final Fantasy villain?

I feel sorry for the Emperor and Cloud of Darkness, actually. The former is a main villain in Dissidia though. They made the latter a sex symbol.

Good ol' Square Enix.

Also, I see one villain is missing... Nightmare from Kirby's Adventure?

I thought about including King Dede in the pic. At the last minute I decided to leave him out since he really came at the very end of the 8-bit era.

Chaos, Medusa, Ridley, Dracula, Metroid, Kraid, I dont recognize the green thing on the lower left beside Kraid..., Wily, Bowser, a shyguy, a metaur, Ganon, a goomba, Wart, dark link, and a virus. Whooo. XD I recognize pretty much all of them, great old games.

Good work.

I wouldn't call them a puzzle game, more of an oldschool arcade style platformer.

But all the Bubble Bobble games are some of the most addicting games out there. you can play for hours and never know how much time you have wasted.

Is the series worth looking into? I can probably get ahold of one of them to try out if so.

I love the series. The original nes version is not too hard to get a hold of. Plus it has been remade so many times. I know the GBA and the NDS Bubble Bobbles have both the original game plus an updated version on them.
