Steampunk Lightsaber quatre by Natfoe Steampunk Lightsaber quatre by Natfoe
Just another pic of [link] with better lighting.

So you can easily see the small resin crystal I made for it obviously lean over before the glue was completely dry. And with all the glue I put on this thing.......there is no way I'm getting that open again to fix it.

that just looks awsome, if we lived in the Star Wars universe ... i would have killed Jar-Jar but i also would have wanted to have a lightsaber like this

looks really ancient and the antique appearance is truly astounding.... Looks like a wookie bowcaster mated with a lightsaber....

Yea, I was really trying to go with a rapier type design, but the hilt does kinda look like the tension bars of a bow.

It's still a sweet and unique 'saber.
=)

Take a Look at my long handle 'saber.
I did derive inspiration from your 'saber.

Nicely done. For future versions you may want to keep both ends of the crystal enclosed, though--or maybe a claw/pincer-type grip, as that would allow for the entire thing to show without sacrificing stability.
